My birthday came a month early, when the receptionist at my job sent me an email telling me there was a package waiting for me at the desk from someone called "Voco".

Usually, packages at work are from my sister, containing little gifts and money orders for me to pay her bills, or else I've ordered something from Amazon that's small enough to carry home (my apartment building is notoriously sluggish about notifying us of packages.)

But I was expecting no such thing, and knew of no Voco. Voco? What's that? It's the company that makes THE STEPHEN FRY "JEEVES" ALARM CLOCK!!!!

It's not available in the U.S., but those who live in Japan can order it from the U.K. site and have it shipped to their sisters in America as an early birthday present.

So. Damn. Awesome.
